Cotto was impressive in his fight on Sat night beating a determined Malignaggi. I thought this fight had the making of an upset with Malignaggi frustrating Cotto with his speed all night long. It turns out that Malginaggi can't hurt Cotto and Cotto was able to walk him down and punish him with impressive shots that eventually lead to a broken jaw. Cotto is not going to be able to make 138 for much longer and it looks like he already has a scheduled fight with a boxer that also has difficulty making weight, Castillo. I feel like this has the making of Gatti vs. Ward brawl but with better technique.
