The Demetrius Hopkins vs. Michael Warrick fight was held last Wednesday at Atlantic City. Hopkins pretty much dominated the fight catching Warrick with a variety of head and body shots for 8 rounds. In the 9th, we witnessed a brutal knockout by Hopkins who set Warrick up with a strong jab that blinded him and then a hook that knocked him off his feet. The way that Warrick feel reminded me of Rocky in Rocky IV and I like Teddy Atlas was calling for the doctor as soon as the punch connected. Great win for Hopkins showing that he has the muscle for a one punch knockout. It looks like the torch from Bernard to Demetrius has been passed.
